Our Weekly Communication to Families and Students

After School Pick Up Procdure~

To prevent a line of cars waiting to pick up students we are asking parents to try the following:
Enter the main entrance parking lot, park in a stall or go all the way to the left side of the building toward the track to wait. Your student can meet you there. We are trying to avoid long pick-up lines causing major back-ups on the highway or a terrible accident.
The fire lane is for EMERGENCY VEHICLES ONLY and could result in a ticket.
Thank you for understanding these guidelines and supporting us in providing a safe environment for students and staff. If you would like your student to ride the bus please make sure your student knows what bus to ride home.

emergency parking only

Our Building Doors Open at 7:40 AM for Students
Please do not drop your student off before 7:40 am. We do not have the staff here to supervise.

Thank you.

Bus Notes~
Bus notes: a signed parent note is required for your student anytime they are riding a different bus home. Please make sure the note includes the following:

  • Your student’s name/Address of where they will be going to

  • Bus number they will be riding/Parent signature

The student brings the note into the office before school to have it stamped and initialed and then gives it to the bus driver when they board the bus. Some buses are at capacity. Office staff will confirm with transportation that there is room. If the bus is full, the bus note will not be approved.

Please be advised that bus notes will not be taken over the phone.

Clubs Starting up~
If your student is interested in joining a club, they need to fill out a Gold Activity Clearance Card located in the Events Board across from the attendance office window, turn it into Mrs. Schipper in the office. Students need to have purchased an ASB card. If students have any questions they can ask the club advisor.

fs

Flight Simulator Club will be starting September 24th.
The club will meet after school on Tuesdays this fall from 2:40pm to 4pm. See Mr. Rogel for more information. Space is limited so don't delay in signing up.

Free Weekend Food for Your Child
Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation is teaming up with Enumclaw School District to offer a supply of meals and snacks for children over their weekends and extended breaks, free of charge. Bags are distributed by school staff & volunteers on the last school day before the weekend or break. Any student enrolled in Enumclaw School District is able to receive these weekly bags of food.
