tmms open house

Come and meet your child’s teachers, learn about how you can best support your child’s learning at home, and get an overview of what your child will be learning in each class this year.
A bright orange flyer along with your student’s schedule was handed out to students to take home today, September 12th. On Tuesday, September 16th please bring their schedule with you to Open House so that you will know which classes to report to.
Students are not required to attend. We are unable to provide childcare so please make arrangements for students and their siblings if possible. Thank you.

Please bring the copy of your students schedule with you to Open House.

Do you run a club or coach a team and want to share kudos about your students? Send the information and photos my way and I will create a post to be shared. I am always looking for content ideas for creating posts for our page to share information with our student’s families and the community. I would love to hear from you.

school bus

Bus Notes~
Bus notes: a signed parent note is required for your student anytime they are riding a different bus home. Please make sure the note includes the following:

  • Your student’s name/Address of where they will be going to

  • Bus number they will be riding/Parent signature

The student brings the note into the office before school to have it stamped and initialed and then gives it to the bus driver when they board the bus. Some buses are at capacity. Office staff will confirm with transportation that there is room. If the bus is full, the bus note will not be approved.

Please be advised that bus notes will not be taken over the phone.

Clubs Starting up~
If your student is interested in joining a club, they need to fill out a Gold Activity Clearance Card located in the Events Board across from the attendance office window, turn it into Mrs. Schipper in the office. Students need to have purchased an ASB card. If students have any questions they can ask the club advisor.

Friday, September 19th the PTSO will be here during both lunches selling Root Beer Floats. Students need to have cash, they cannot use money from their lunch account.

float friday
backpack program

For families struggling to keep enough food in the house during weekends and school breaks, there is help available. Each Friday, hundreds of students of the Enumclaw School District receive food bags containing fresh organic fruit, entree servings, breakfasts, and snacks. Food bags are discreetly distributed at school in such a way that the students remain anonymous to classmates.

If your family could benefit from this program, contact your student’s school counselor or complete the online enrollment form.

This program is brought to families of the Enumclaw School District by the Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation.
