Attention Titans:  There are two exciting clubs forming for the second semester.  The first, Knowledge Bowl, is a fun trivia game with real buzzers just like a game show.  Participants will compete as a team to answer challenging questions.  All are welcome and you'll never be put on the spot to come up with an answer by yourself.  The second club, Chess Club, will be an opportunity for players of all levels to improve their chess skills and friendly games with others.  Both clubs will meet on Thursdays from 2:45-4:00 beginning on January 29th.  There are a maximum of 25 spots available for the chess club. To join a club, turn your gold activity card into the office.

Join Thrive Club!
Thrive Club will begin on 1/28 and will meet on Wednesdays thru 3/11, 2:50-4:30 pm in room 202. Our Mission is to empower students to thrive in an inviting and inclusive environment, focusing on personal wellness, and meaningful connections. We emphasize substance use prevention through Recognition, Resistance, and Resilience. If you have any questions see the Club Leader: Sierra Myers
Are you interested in joining a club? Here is how you do that: fill out a Gold Activity Sheet located in the Events Board & purchase an ASB card, turn it into Mrs. Schipper in the office.

Does your student love to read? If so, they can join Ms. O’Neil and Ms. Chris’ newly formed D.E.A.R club - Drop Everything And READ! Once a month they'll be meeting after school for a half hour activity followed by an hour of reading.
If students would like to join and haven't yet, it's not too late. Students can join any time of the year by filling out a gold activity sheet and turn it into Ms. Schipper.
The next meeting will be Thursday, January 29th, 2:40pm-4pm.

Reminder: The Enumclaw School District will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Please join us in showing appreciation for the Enumclaw School District Board of Directors! President and District Three Director, Tyson Gamblin; Vice President and District Five Director, Paul Fisher; Legislative Member and District One Director, Scott Mason; WIAA Representative and District Four Director, Ben Stouffer; and newly elected District Two Director, Tara Cochran; Senior Representative, Makhya Walls; Junior Representative, Elliot Cheney.
Thank you for your vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our students and community!
The Board of Directors is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the District. Its primary duties include hiring, supervising, and evaluating the superintendent, as well as establishing the district’s vision, mission, and strategic goals. The Board reviews, revises, and adopts district policies and is responsible for establishing and overseeing the district’s budget. Additionally, Board members serve as representatives of the community and monitor the district’s progress toward achieving its stated objectives.
We offer a special thank you to former President Julianne DeShayes for her four-years of service, and tireless commitment to understanding and uniting all segments of the District community.

Join us at the next School Board Meeting! Our next General Meeting is Tuesday, January 20, 2026. You will find the agenda posted 48 hours before the meeting on our School Board web page.

The current Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy (approved by voters in 2022) and Instructional Technology (Tech) Levy (approved by voters in 2020) will both expire in 2026. The school district is asking our community to consider renewing the two levies in the February 10, 2026, Special Election. If approved by voters, these levies will sustain funding for current services and programs. These are replacement levies. This is not a new tax. To learn more about these levies and the programs and services they fund, please visit our website: https://www.enumclaw.wednet.edu/page/2026-replacement-levies

Join Dr. Carey for a chat about the upcoming replacement levies and other district initiatives. January 12, 2026 at 6:00pm or January 14, 2026 at 4:30 pm at the ESD District Office.
