Thunder Mountain Middle School's Weekly Bulletin to Families

Our Weekly Communication to Families and Students

December 8-12, 2025

Candy Grams are coming!
They will be sold on December 8th, 9th, and 10th at both first and second lunches. They are $1 for one candy gram. Candy grams are a note with candy that students can buy for anyone they wish at school and will be delivered to that person before winter break.

Does your student love to read? If so, they can join Ms. O’Neil and Ms. Chris’ newly formed D.E.A.R club - Drop Everything And READ! Once a month they'll be meeting after school for a half hour activity followed by an hour of reading.
If students would like to join and haven't yet, it's not too late. Students can join any time of the year by filling out a gold activity sheet and turn it into Ms. Schipper.
The next meeting will be Wednesday, December 17th, 2:40pm-4pm.

Bus Notes

Bus notes: a signed parent note is required for your student
anytime they are riding a different bus home. Please make sure the note includes the following:

1. Your student’s name/Address of where they will be going to
2. Bus number they will be riding/Parent signature

The student brings the note into the office before school to have it stamped and initialed and then gives it to the bus driver when they board the bus. Some buses are at capacity. Office staff will confirm with transportation that there is room. If the bus is full, the bus note will not be approved.

Please be advised that bus notes will not be taken over the phone.
