SBA Testing Starts Next Week!
|
|
|
As we approach our upcoming state testing period, we want to set every student up for success. You can play a big role in helping your child feel confident and ready to do their best.
Here are a few simple ways to support them:
Get a good night’s sleep: Aim for an early bedtime so your child is well-rested and focused.
Eat a healthy breakfast: A nutritious meal helps fuel their brain and maintain energy throughout the test.
Arrive at school on time: Being punctual ensures a calm start to the day and avoids unnecessary stress.
We appreciate your partnership in helping our students show what they know. Thank you for your continued support!

Help us knock down hunger - one cereal box at a time!
Get ready for an exciting school-wide event where we turn kindness into a GIANT domino chain!
We are collecting boxes of cereal to create an EPIC domino run through our school halls! Once all the boxes are lined up, we'll knock them down in one amazing chain reaction!
How you can help: Bring in new, unopened boxes of cereal (as many as you can), and place them in your classroom collection area.
Let's see if we can line the ENTIRE SCHOOL with cereal boxes!
All cereal boxes will be donated to help families in need in our community. Together we can make a BIG difference!
Check out these fun commercials from students in Mrs. Henderson's class:

School Immunizations: Get Ready Over the Summer for the 26-27 School Year |
|
|
In order to safeguard the school community from the spread of certain communicable diseases and in recognition that prevention is a means of combating the spread of disease, the ESD board requires a student to present evidence of having been immunized as required by 28A.210 RCW and the Washington State Board of Health 246-105 WAC.
Families in Washington can access health and immunization records online using MyIR. A parent or guardian can register and add access for family members or dependents using a simple and intuitive web interface. Access to health records is only allowed once the parent or guardian visits their health provider to authenticate the information provided to the system. This ensures that the parent or guardian is permitted access to the family’s records as required for compliance to federal law. VISIT MyIR
Exemptions from Immunization:
The district shall allow for exemptions from immunization requirements only as allowed for by RCW 28A.210.090 RCW 28A.210.090 and WAC 246-105-050.
Exclusion from School:
The district will exclude students as required in RCW 28A.210.120 from further presence at the school who are out of compliance with the immunization requirements and students with a life-threatening health condition as required in WAC 392-380-045 who do not have a medication or treatment order in place.
A letter will be mailed home further explaining the details. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Nurse Caren in our health room at caren_noehl@enumclaw.wednet.edu or at 360-802-7430.
