Our 5th graders demonstrated poise and elegance as they performed for their families and fellow students, showcasing all they have learned over the last ten weeks in the Dancing Classrooms program. We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Pacific Ballroom and our instructor Menolly for teaching our students and introducing them to the world of ballroom dancing, and to ESF and our amazing PTO for funding this amazing opportunity! |

We Celebrated April Fool's Day with a "Flood Drill" |
|
|
Things got a little wet at Sunrise Elementary this week… or so the students thought!
During our “flood drill" on April 1st, students sprang into action by rolling up their pant legs to stay dry and climbing on top of their chairs to escape the rising “waters.”
Good news: no socks were harmed, no classrooms were flooded, and the only thing rising was the laughter.
We had a fun April Fool's Day!
