Dear Enumclaw School District Community,
Happy Holidays
As Winter Break officially begins, I hope this season brings you opportunities to relax, connect with loved ones, and recharge. The holidays are a time to reflect on what matters most, and I encourage everyone to take care of yourselves and those around you. For our students, I can’t help but suggest dedicating just a little time each day to something that nurtures your growth as a learner, once a teacher, always a teacher!
When we return in the new year, we’ll dive into the important work that remains in our school year. Together, we aim to help every student deepen their skills, pursue their passions, and discover what brings them joy and fulfillment. Our partnership with parents, guardians, and caregivers is central to this mission. By working together, we can ensure our students continue to build on their talents and make the most of their time with us.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Enumclaw School District Staff, I wish you and your family peace, joy, and happiness this holiday season. Stay safe, take care, and we look forward to seeing you in 2026!
Shaun

Learn More About Our Replacement Levies on the February 10, 2026 Ballot |
The current Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy (approved by voters in 2022) and our current Instructional Technology (Tech) Levy (approved by voters in 2020) will both expire in 2026. The school district is asking our community to consider renewing the two levies on February 10, 2026. If approved by voters, these levies will sustain funding for current services and programs.
Why do school districts have levies?
Levies bridge the gap between the state funding formula and the actual cost of maintaining student programs, services, and school operations. The state provides funding for 'basic education,' but many programs, services, and school buildings rely on local measures approved by voters to fund the gap.
These are replacement levies. This is not a new tax.
