Greetings Timberwolf Families!

We have TWO important pieces of information we would like to provide to families.

1) Choice Transfer Reminder

If you have a non-resident student attending school in the district and would like them to be considered for re-enrollment for the 2026-27 school year, a Choice Transfer application must be completed. This application is an annual state requirement for students who live outside of district boundaries.

Choice Transfer Timelines

Please complete the Choice Transfer application via this link between the Open Enrollment period of March 1 through March 31.

For families who miss the March open enrollment dates, a second review of Choice Transfers will be available starting August 1 through the first day of school.

Choice Transfers received outside of the open enrollment dates will be denied.

For a complete look at the district's Choice Transfer procedures, please view the enrollment information on our website.

2)  Elective Selections

Current 6th and 7th grade families,

Next year, we have a shift in electives that will be offered! Your students will hear about these changes on Monday during Wolf Den. However, we would LOVE for you to talk with your student about what might interest them. We have worked hard to try to offer a variety in classes that students will get to experience, which tie into the different pathways that are offered at the high school. Just as a reminder, students do get to rank their interests, but we can’t always guarantee their top choices.

ADVANCED BAND: For students with 1+ years on their instrument. Level up your skills, read music like a pro, and perform awesome songs from all kinds of composers!

ADVANCED ORCHESTRA: For students with 1+ years on violin, viola, cello, or bass. Boost your skills, read music, and play cool pieces from different styles.

BEGINNING BAND: New to woodwinds, brass, or percussion? Learn your instrument, read music, and make music with your friends. No experience needed—just bring your excitement!

BEGINNING ORCHESTRA: Start your journey on violin, viola, cello, or bass. Learn the basics, read music, and play fun songs with your group.

CHOIR: Do you love to sing? Learn how to use your voice, read music, and perform songs from tons of different styles—solo or with the group!

GRAPHIC DESIGN: Turn your creativity into real-world design skills with hands-on projects in graphic design, digital photography, and marketing.

INTRO TO ART: A hands-on class to explore the basics of art. No experience needed—just be ready to try new things and get creative. (This will NOT be a repeat of 6th grade material)

LEADERSHIP: An activity-based class where you’ll work on leadership skills, plan school events, and discuss how to create an inclusive and welcoming environment.

MEDICAL DETECTIVE: Be a medical investigator! Solve hands-on medical mysteries.

SCHOOL MEDIA PRODUCTIONS: Learn the basics of photography, graphic design, video production, and interviewing while capturing stories and events that make our Timberwolf pack special. One of the products in the class is creating the school yearbook! It’s a class now!

STEM ROBOTICS: Explore gears, building, and programming robots!

The Calendar list at the end of the newsletter has been updated.

New Information/changes in information will be highlighted for two weeks.  The first week will be Yellow, the second week will be  orange.

Dear Enumclaw School District Families,

Our district has been working on a major information system upgrade: transitioning from Skyward SMS 2.0 to Skyward Qmlativ ("New Skyward"). After completing the majority of our migration over the Mid-Winter Break, Skyward Family Access is now available again.

Many families use Family Access through Skyward to view their student's lunch account, grades, attendance, discipline, and more.

Family Access Login

Food Service Payments

We are still working on the functionality of food service payments at this time. We will provide families with an update when the system is available to accept payments.

Skyward Mobile App Users: Action Required

For staff, families, and students who have the Skyward mobile app already installed, the app must be configured for Qmlativ.

Configuration Instructions

Your Skyward Login ID was provided to you when enrolling your first student in the Enumclaw School District. Your password was also chosen at this time. Occasionally, Skyward may ask you to choose a new password to keep your account secure.

Need to install the app? Download the "Skyward Mobile Access" app from either the Apple App Store, or Google Play.

Forgot your Login ID or password

Go to the Skyward login page and select “Forgot your Login/Password?”

Enter your email address and complete the CAPTCHA (human verification).

Watch for an automated email with reset instructions.

If you do not receive the email within 5 minutes, please contact your child’s school to confirm the email address on file.

For more information about Skyward Family Access, please visit our website: https://enumclawwa.sites.thrillshare.com/o/esd/page/family-access

For any other questions related to your Family Access account, please contact your school.

March is Music in Our Schools Month

As families and community members, we often only see the results of student music performances; however, music educators dedicate themselves to working with students through practices and rehearsals, pushing students further. ESD is proud to honor our music, choir, band, and orchestra teachers and the impact they have daily. Learn more about the importance of music in schools at the National Association of Music Education https://nafme.org/

Please join us in celebrating March as Women's History Month. Women play a vital role in shaping our future, making up over 80% of the educators in the Enumclaw School District and making an impact in our community and beyond! Let us take a moment to appreciate the women who continue to inspire, nurture, and empower students every day.

At the beginning of each school year, families receive a questionnaire to determine eligibility for McKinney-Vento services, as well as for Free/Reduced Meals during the school day. OSPI recommends a mid-year check-in as an opportunity for anyone with a change to their housing circumstances to submit information.

The McKinney-Vento information can be found at https://www.enumclaw.wednet.edu/page/mckinney-vento-homeless-students IF YOU HAVE STABLE HOUSING, YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE THIS FORM.

Free/Reduced Meal applications can be found at https://www.enumclaw.wednet.edu/o/esd/page/free-and-reduced We encourage all families to fill out this form, even if you think you may not qualify.

For questions, please contact your school counselor Davette Eneboe at Davette_Eneboe@Enumclaw.wednet.edu or 360-802-7159 or ESD Student Support Services at 360-802-7125.

Your response will help inform and improve substance use prevention and mental health promotion programs for our youth.
