Greetings Timberwolf Families! |
It’s officially half way through the year! We have 90 days to make a difference and work together to grow these students. As a parent myself, I can recite the emails from my own students’ schools; I am saying it too but keeping it simple.
Attendance matters!- If your students are struggling to get to school, give us a call and we can try to work together on a plan.
Check their grades!- Skyward is getting a face lift the week of Feb. 9-13 which means you won’t be able to access grades, but when it’s done, it should be easier to navigate and see all your students on one page. Also, don’t forget we have learning lounge opportunities for students who need a space after school to get work done and ask a teacher for help.
Ask questions about their classes!- If you get the standard “fine”, “boring”, “good” answer when you ask about their day, ask them from a different angle. Tell me something funny that happened today, or my favorite question to ask is “Tell me three good things about the day “ which helps them build a positive mind frame and start to naturally look for the positives around them.
Get involved!- Did I mention the Learning Lounge? But we also have clubs after school and a few new ones coming soon based on a student feedback survey on what they want to see at EMS.
**Students can pick up a paper copy of their Semester 2 Schedule on Monday, January 26th in the Cafeteria.**
Here’s to a great second half of the year!
|
Today marks the end of the 1st Semester for the 2025-26 School year and we want to hear from you, both the good and the hard to hear.
You are a critical part of our school culture and we value your feedback. A survey will be sent out after each grading period because each grading period marks another point of feedback in your student's middle school journey! To access the current survey, please click on the Parent Survey button below.

The Calendar list at the end of the newsletter has been updated. New entries are highlighted. |

The current Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy (approved by voters in 2022) and Instructional Technology (Tech) Levy (approved by voters in 2020) will both expire in 2026. The school district is asking our community to consider renewing the two levies in the February 10, 2026, Special Election. If approved by voters, these levies will sustain funding for current services and programs. These are replacement levies. This is not a new tax. To learn more about these levies and the programs and services they fund, please visit our website: https://www.enumclaw.wednet.edu/page/2026-replacement-levies |
