Greetings Timberwolf Families!

So close… Next week is a busy week! We are working hard to maintain as many routines as possible in order to provide consistency for students and want to be clear about anything that might be different.

I want to give a huge kudos to students for being proactive in planning and asking about end of year questions especially around attendance related activities (8th grade)! 8th grade parents if you haven’t read through 8th grade dance expectations, we encourage you to do so.

Cellphones on Monday, June 16 & Tuesday, June 17

Friday, June 13 is locker clean out day! Big question, what do we do with our phones?

Monday June 16 and Tuesday, June 17- students don’t bring backpacks/bags or chromebooks.

We understand that students will have their phones. They will ONLY be allowed to have their phones out during lunch and passing times. THIS MEANS, they need to stay put away in their pockets. If they are out at any other point in the day, they will need to be locked up in the office until the end of the day. This does mean they can’t have them during activities planned throughout the day (for example, Field Day, Staff vs. Student basketball game, and Annual tug-a-war class competition).

YES! Phones can be out

  • Before School (same as now)

  • Lunch

  • Passing time

  • After school

NO! Phone need to be put away during:

  • Class time

  • Activities

    • Field Day

    • Staff vs Student basketball game

    • Annual End of Year Tug-a-war competition

Monday, June 16- Field Day

Heads up, this is a fun, interactive day filled with lots of movement!  Students will want to think about dressing for games. Please help your student make good “choices” in their length of shorts.  We thank you in advance!  School dress code still applies these last couple of days.

One last reminder, the Bus Loop in front of the school is for School Buses only, as the signs state. Please do not use the Bus Loop to drop off you student before school or for pick up after school. The Bus Loop is not wide enough for the buses to be able to pass cars parked along the curb, which cause a back up. Please respect our Bus Driver's time, and student safety, and use the appropriate drop off and pick up location in the parking lot.

Great News! We have Yearbooks! For those that purchased yearbooks already, they will be handed out on Tuesday, June 10th during Wolf Den. For those that did not already purchase a yearbook, extras will be on sale on a First Come, First Serve basis until the extras are sold out, starting on June 10th, during Wolf Den. Yearbooks can be purchased for $28.00 in the Main Office. The Office can accept Cash, Check made out to Enumclaw Middle School, or Credit Card if the person presenting the card is the same person named on the card. You can log onto your InTouch Account to check your purchase History to see if you already purchased a yearbook.

The next Learning Lounge is on Tuesday, June 10th. Two days have been added, June 10th and June 11th.

Students have an opportunity for extra help on school assignments. Learning Lounge will be after school from 2:35 pm to 3:40 pm. in Mrs. McLaughlin's classroom, C6.
This DOES NOT mean it is social time to hang out with friends. We want this to be a structured opportunity for students to take ownership of their learning and work habits. Student can sign up using this link: https://forms.gle/o5zXrCCpMFkVU1YC7
