We have two more weeks until break. This is a great time to double check Skyward and remind your students to stay on top of work so they don’t have to do anything over break! 

A few logistical changes are coming starting Monday…

Pit Stop- Starts Monday

Students running in the hall going to lunch will be pulled over for speeding, which means they will be directed to the pit area to fill out a reflection sheet and have to sit and wait in the pit area for the adult in charge of the speed trap to talk to them. If there is a line of students, they have to wait until the adult talks to them one on one in the pit area, which means they may end up last in line or at the table.

If we see students running in the halls as they pass through, we will tell them to “Go back and walk!”. Just telling them to walk isn’t working so we are going to be more consistent in telling them to go back and walk.

CHANGE: Only 1 bell at the end of the day!

We decided starting next week, we will only have one bell at the end of the day now. Students who go to the high school for the transfer bus will still leave 2 minutes early to get a head start. 

A few fun things in motion….

Besides the school being “Buddified” (is that a word?) we have some fun activities coming up!

*  Friday, Dec. 12- AM Assembly Schedule for our school wide Winter Music Concert

*  Monday, Dec. 15 Girls JV @ 3:30 and Varsity (4:45) Basketball game- we would love to see as many students, staff and parents as possible come cheer on the girls! PTSO will be selling concessions (food and drink stays in the cafeteria). 

*  Dec. 15-19 Spirit Week is coming.  Keep an eye out for more information. 

There are TWO more Learning Lounge Dates for 2025!!!

If your student needs a quiet place to get a small snack after school

AND

*get extra help with an assignment

*read for a class

*complete learning from the day

*make up missed learning

*make-up a quiz (with teacher's pre-approval)

*work on a group project

*or something else your student may need to do to help with the academic successs.

Learning Lounge is open on the days listed, from 2:35pm - 3:35 pm, in Room C6. Students can ask their teacher how to sign up, or just drop by on a date listed.

Season 3 Sports (Girls Soccer and Boys Basketball) will start on January 12, 2026.  Make sure your student's physical is current through March 13, 2026.  Physicals are good for TWO YEARS.
