A Message from the Principal

Principal Picture

Dear Kibler Families!

Welcome back to school! We are so excited to be together again. I may or may not have ridden an E-bike through the halls before students arrived on the first day, shouting “Happy 1st Day!” Let’s just say… I was a little excited.

This year’s theme is Mission Possible. Our mission? To help students believe in their classmates, to know we truly believe in them, and most importantly, to believe in themselves. Unlike the movies, this mission, is possible! We’ll be having some fun with this theme. Byron the Bear even made a Top Secret delivery the other day… more surprises are on the way.

At Kibler, we’re the school with heart, and our values guide the way:

  • Show Respect

  • Make Good Decisions

  • Solve Problems

And for students, we keep it simple:

  • Follow adult directions the first time.

  • Always walk in the building (it’s not a racetrack).

  • Remember—Kibler is a hands-off school.

We wrap it all up with our favorite motto: Keep it Kind, Kibler… and Go Bears!

Thank you for helping us make school a place where kids feel safe, cared for, and excited to learn. With your support, our Bears are set for an incredible year.

With heart (and maybe a dad joke or two),
Travis Goodlett
Principal

Backpack Program

For families struggling to keep enough food in the house during weekends and school breaks, there is help available. Each Friday, hundreds of students of the Enumclaw School District receive food bags containg fresh organic fruit, entree servings, breakfasts, and snacks. Food bags are discreetly distributed at school in such a way that the students remain anonymous to classmates.

If your family could benefit from this program, contact your student's school counselor or complete the online enrollment form.

This program is brought to families of the Enumclaw School District by the Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation.
