A Message From the Principal |
Hi Kibler Families,
Thank you to everyone who came out for Trunk-or-Treat — it was a blast seeing our kids and families together.
And while I’m at it, thanks for all the everyday things you do that make a difference: reading with your kids, getting them to dance and soccer practice, to church activities, to grandparents and other caregivers, reading to them, managing bedtime and wake-ups, drop-offs and pick-ups… all the little routines that don’t always get noticed but shape their world.
It’s a lot, and it’s worth it. We appreciate you. Go Bears! Travis

Kibler Connections with Ms. Cunningham |
Supporting Respectful Behavior at Home and School
At Kibler, we’re focusing on what it means to show respect—for ourselves, for others, and for our school. When students practice respect, they help create a safe and positive environment where everyone can learn and feel valued.
Families play an important role in helping children understand and live out this value every day. Here are a few simple ways to reinforce respectful behavior at home:
Model it: Kids notice how adults speak and listen to one another. Using calm tones and kind words—even when frustrated—shows them what respect sounds like.
Practice listening: Encourage your child to make eye contact, wait their turn to speak, and use phrases like “I hear you” or “I understand.”
Set clear expectations: Talk about what respectful behavior looks like at home and at school. For example, “At school, being respectful means following directions the first time and using kind words with friends.”
Recognize it: Catch your child showing respect and name what you see—“I noticed you waited patiently for your turn. That was respectful!”
By working together, we can help our students build strong habits of respect that will serve them in school and beyond.

The Health room is in need of:
-5T or XS boys and girls pants
-Small size boys underwear
-Small size boys pants
-Medium size girls pants (leggings and sweats are best because they fit any body type!)
-Plastic grocery bags
It would be helpful to pack extra clothes in your child's backpacks and to please wash and return the clothes that are borrowed from the health room.
