New BKE Attendance Email

Kibler now has an attendance email for notifying the school of absences and Tardies. Please email bkeattendance@enumclaw.wednet.edu or you may still call the office.

Picture Retake Day

Wednesday, October 23rd is our Picture Retake Day. All students that that did not have their picture taken on Sept. 11th will need to have their picture taken on this day.

If your student is having retakes, they need to bring in their picture packet and give it to the photographer.

BKE Trunk or Treat Event

Please join us for a safe, family event in the parking lot at Kibler. This will be a fun night sponsored by our PTA where costumes may be worn, cars can be decorated, and candy will be given/received. Students need to be with an adult and please no scary masks or face paint. If you plan to decorate the trunk of your car, you may arrive by 5:15 p.m.

October 14- 18th is Digital Citizenship Week.

As part of our library media program, we teach lessons on Digital Citizenship. In this day and age, our students are exposed to technology throughout their day. Lessons will begin in Kindergarten and each year we will expand on topics in an age appropriate manner. If you or your student has any questions feel free to reach out to me via email or during class.

School Information

School Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Friday, 9:00 am - 2:15 pm

Students may arrive after 8:45 am when student supervision is available.

Food Service:

Breakfast and Lunches at Kibler for the 2024-25 school year are free for all students. In order for the meal to be free, a student must take a complete meal. If a student only takes a milk, they will be charged for that milk.

Emergency Information:

Please be sure to keep your child's records current. Notify the office of any changes in address, phone numbers, childcare, etc., so that you may be reached if necessary.

Attendance:

When your child is absent, we request that a guardian notify the office. The office will make every effort to contact the parent/guardian of absent students if a phone call is not received to verify their safety. If a student is not in their classroom by the time the tardy bell rings at 9:00 am, the student will be marked tardy. All tardy students must check into the office before going to class.

Changes In After School Routine:

If your child has a change to their after school routine, please send a note or call the office BEFORE 2:30 pm (Fridays, 1:45 pm) to ensure information is communicated in a timely manner.

Guiding Good Choices Workshop

As promised, we're excited to share the fall workshop series of Guiding Good Choices!!

This FREE workshop for parents & guardians of youth ages 9-14 gives families tools that work to protect preteens and teens from the risks they encounter as they become more independent. Families learn ways to build & maintain lasting relationships, and at the end of each session, learn how to hold a family meeting to share lessons learned.
